Re-designing Ark's inventory. 

For my UI module this year, I chose to remake Ark's inventory system based on making it better for casual players to pick up. 

High Fidelity Prototype

This is my final prototype for the recreation of Ark's inventory system. 

Low fidelity Prototype

 

A prototype of my low fidelity recreation of the inventory can be found below, this will allow you to play through and interact with the inventory to see how thing should be playing out. It also allowed me to user test with my university classmates, which helped allow me to make adjustments to the overall design.

Scamps

Scamps are quick and simple drawings of the UI idea. I used these to figure out what layouts could work best for the recreation. Below are some of my best examples.

Below is an image of my post it note investigation. This was created during pre-production as it allowed me to see how many buttons, inventory slots, player statistics I would have to balance in the recreation of this inventory.
